On an episode of the Coode Street Podcast with Michael Swanwick, he discusses the debt his Darger and Surplus stories owe to Fritz Leiber’s Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. He briefly mentions a conversation he had with Leiber in which Leiber said “All my stories are horror stories.”
