Review: “The Girl with the Grey Eyes”, William Hope Hodgson, 1913.

This is a comedic romance of misunderstanding.
The narrator’s friend has various mishaps when trying to win the titular girl away from her suitor – who turns out to be her brother.
Hodgson, incidentally, used a variation of the jealous-lover-making-a-fool-of-himself-to-show-up-a-rival plot in the first chapter of The Night Land.
